Elgin 18S 15J grade 218 pocket watch #8384772, handsome nickel full plate movement with screw-down jewel settings and a fancy concentric circle damascene pattern, porcelain enamel dial with Roman numerals and a subsidiary seconds register has a few small flakes at the edge and a small factory-defect dimple between 4 & 5 o'clock but no hairlines, blue steel spade-style hands, re-cased into a heavy smooth polish yellow gold filled (YGF) swing out case with a glass crystal and a detailed engraving of a locomotive on the back, case is showing normal even wear overall with a few nicks and a small dent on the frame, some smoothing to the engraving near the edges and a few small spots of brass on the pendant, measures approx. 54mm in diameter x 78mm in length x 18mm thick (crystal included). An classic vintage Elgin pocket watch from the early 1900s in excellent overall condition!
