Elgin 12S 15J grade 315 pocket watch #30405250, beautiful split plate nickel movement with screw-down jewel settings and a fancy concentric circle damascene pattern, distinctive off-white metal dial with a matte finish has bright finish silver fancy Arabic style numbers and a center baroque-style artistic design, subsidiary seconds register, dial does have some small spots of discoloration and a ring in the second bit where the hand has moved around but no heavy scratches or damage, blue steel double cross-bar diamond style hands, yellow gold filled (YGF) 8-sided friction fit case with deeply floral engraved bezels, smooth polish frame, a fancy engraved bow, and vertical line engraving on the back with a fancy diamond-shaped monogram shield with an elaborate monogram, possibly "HR", case is showing normal even wear overall but does have a thin line of brass starting to show on the frame along with a number of small pin-prick sides depressions on the edge of the back cover, measures approx. 43mm wide x 55mm long x 11mm thick (crystal included). A handsome vintage Elgin pocket watch from the 1920s in excellent condition!
