Elgin 21J adj. grade 680 wrist watch #P479576, vintage mechanical manual-wind nickel split plate movement with bold red ruby jewels and a bar-style damascene pattern, distinctive gold-toned metal dial with a fish-scale design engraving across the entire surface, raised gold Arabic-style numbers and markers and a subsidiary seconds register is marked "Lord Elgin", dial has a light patina on the right half and on the numbers however no heavy scratching or damage, faceted gold steel wedge-style hands, impressive yellow gold filled (YGF) round smooth polish Golden Knight model Elgin case with a wide sloping bezel supporting a thick acrylic crystal with a conical raised center detail and unusual top and bottom concentric arc case details that in turn support faceted classic extended lugs, back of the case is monogramed "W.M.P", case is showing normal normal wear overall with a few small lines of brass on the arc sections of the case and a few moderate scratches on the back, measures approx. 27mm in diameter x 40mm lug to lug x 10mm thick (crystal included), lightly textured brown leather strap band. A very attractive, high grade vintage watch from the late 1950s in excellent condition!
