Longines 17J automatic (self-winding) wrist watch, case #1200, champagne-toned metal dial has a 2-tone look between the matte inner section and the bright polish outer ring, outer ring has narrow concentric circle engraving under the raised fancy gold markers, inner section supports the "mystery hand" hour marker in the form of a slightly raised 8-pointed gold star, this inner section rotates in lieu of an hour hand, dial does have some light scuffs and small spots of discoloration, faceted gold steel wedge-style minute hand functions as normal.

Heavy yellow gold filled (YGF) smooth polish water-resistant case with a narrow tapered bezel supporting a high domed glass crystal and slender extended lugs is a proprietary design with the back marked to indicate "Use All Proof Wrench" around the outer edge, case is showing normal even wear overall with a few small spots of brass near the crown and on the lugs along with a short scratch on the crystal at 6:30, we can replace the crystal with a new domed plastic one at no charge on request, measures approx. 33mm in diameter x 38mm lug to lug x 11mm thick (crystal included), lightly textured, lightly padded black leather strap band.

This watch also comes with a large, burgundy-toned leatherette box accented with gold lines, the interior is lined with dark red velvet with a formed watch display in the center and the interior-top of the box set with a white satin Longines design with a gold frame. A very high quality and distinctive vintage wrist watch from the 1960s in excellent condition!
