By Style:

  • Advertising - Watches that have automobile, truck, motorcycle, brotherhood, character, and other various advertising logos on the dial or as an engraving or inscription.
  • Railroad Grade - Watches that met the criteria to be used in service on the US railroad lines.
  • Complicated Watches - Watches with non-standard movements, such as timers, chronographs and repeaters.
  • Key Wind Watches - Watches, typically earlier models from the 1800's, that will use a key to wind and set instead of the later pendant-wind models.
  • Fancy Dial Watches - Wrist and pocket watches that have distinctive dials, such as filigree or gemstone accents, non-standard porcelain enamel styles (such as Montgomery or Canadian) or hand-painted designs.
  • Fancy Case Watches - Wrist and pocket watches that have distinctive case styles, such as a distinctive shape, multi-colored accents or an enamel or gemstone inlay.
  • Mens Gold Pocket Watches - Larger pocket watches that have a solid gold case.
  • Mens Gold Wrist Watches - Larger wrist watches that have a solid gold case.
  • Ladies Gold Pocket Watches - Smaller pocket watches that have a solid gold case.
  • Ladies Gold Wrist Watches - Smaller wrist watches that have a solid gold case.
  • "Dress" Pocket Watches - Mid-sized watches, traditionally marketed as a gentleman's dress watch, but now considered appropriate for both men and women to carry.
  • Hunting Cased (Men's) Pocket Watches - Larger pocket watches that have a hunting case (HC) style case, with a metal cover that protects the dial and crystal.
  • "Sidewinder" Pocket Watches - Pocket watches with an open face case and an HCM, or Hunting Cased Movement.
  • Display Case Watches - Watches that have crystals to display both the front (dial) side and the back (movement) side.
  • Jeweler's Mark Watches - Watches that were commissioned by a secondary store or company and were, in turn, marked with additional information.
  • Triple Signed Watches - Watches that have at least 3 factory marks across multiple components of the watch.
  • Factory Boxed Watches - Watches that also include at least 1 original packaging box.
  • "Dollar" Watches - Non-jeweled or single-jeweled mass produced watches from the late 1800's and early 1900's.
  • Quartz-movement Watches - Watches from the 1970's to new that have a quartz-powered movement instead of a mechanical movement.
  • "Mechanic Special" Watches - Watches that need repairs to be in top running condition; typically these watches are not cost-effective for us to repair here at PM Time Service but would be of interest to a hobbyist or watch maker in training.
  • Mens European-made Pocket Watches - Larger European-made pocket watches, from countries such as England, France, Germany, Sweden, and Switzerland.
  • Ladies European-made Pocket Watches - Smaller European-made pocket watches; the majority are of Swiss origin, although other countries are also represented.
